• . - THE HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. •: The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 6th inst. reads: —Hemp manila market again easier wih poor demand, output pontinues large compared with last year: “G” grade April-May shipments and MayJuly shipments sold at £32 early this week and June-August shipments £3l 10s Od later; present quotations are. sellers May-July shipment “G” and “H” £3l; output Ist January’ to 30th April, 373,000 bales, against 250,000 hales for the same period Mast year. New Zealand market again weaker, with entire absence of demand, sellers quote nominally high point spot £3O 10s , / Od, -May-July shipments £2O, fair £&9. £2B, • respectively.
