MASONIC

The Installation of W. M. and investiture of officers in connection with the local Masonic Lodge took place yesterday afternoon. There was a representative attendance of visiting brethren. R. Wor. Bro. -J. A. Nash P.G.S.W., officiated as Installing Master and was assisted by the Prov. G. \L, R. Wor. Bro. -J. H. Perritt and other visiting officers. Wor. Bro. Hornblow officiated as Director of Ceremonies. The following officers were installed: W.M.. Wor. Bro. Renton; T.P.M., Wor.*Bro. J. M. Barr: S.W., Bro.. J. MeColl; J.W. Bro. Roore Rangiheuea; Chapiain, Bro. Rev. Hallidav; Secretary, W. Bro. Jno. Ross; Treasurer, W. Bro. Perrenn: D.C. W. Bro. Hornblow; S.D. Bro. D. W. Robertson; J.D., Bro. A. G. Alexander: 1.G., Bro. Campbell; Tyler,, W. Bro. de Bidder; S.S., Bro. W. Davey; J.S., Bro. A. E. Sutton; auditor, W. Bro. E. Ilea lev.

In the evening the visitors and ladies were entertained at a very enjoyable social and dance.

Bros. McColl and Rangiheuea were responsible for the artistic decorations. R. Wot - . Pro. .T. A. Nash efficiently carried out the duties of M.C., the catering was in the hands of IV. Bro. Perreau and Mr East provided the dance music. A pleasing feature of the evening was the <• borons singing in which all joined.
