P. & T. ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. Wellington, Last Night. The executive of the P. and T. Association met to-day to consider matters relating to affiliation with the Alliance of Labour, and the Government’s refusal to countenance the same. At the close of the day the proceedings, which wore conducted in private, were not concluded. It was announced that there was no statement for publication. The meeting will'be continued tomorrow. The Prime Minister stated lonight that be had received no communication from the executive of 1 the P. and T. Officers’ Associations in regard to the result of its deliberations.' “Of course,” added Mr Massey, “the Minister is the Post-master-General. They will probably communicate in the first instance with him, but he is at present out of town.” .
