GOLDEN WEDDING.
On Saturday nexr, April Ist, M.' and Mrs do Ridder, of Raven, sworth Place, old and respected citizens, will celebrate their golden wedding. Mr and Mrs de Bidder were married in Christchurch on April Ist, .1872, by the Very Rev. Henry Jacobs, Dean of Christchurch. Three of the bridesmaids who took part in the ceremony are still living, viz., Mrs Pritchard (nee Clark), Christchurch; Mrs Winny (nee Slater), Christchurch; Miss Norah Clark, Christchurch. The highway of life during the 50 years marital journey has not always been smooth, for our old friends, but they have been buoyed up by mutual support and unbroken affection. We join with all their many friends in tendering felicitations, coupled with the hope that they may be spared many years of companionship.
