CORRESPONDENCE.
(To.the Editor.) Sir. —Re water and drainage scheme. Can you tell me and others how long it will be before the water and drainage l is completed f five, or ten years? Some of our Councillors should talk about the Red Fed. go-slow policy. I think they take the biscuit in that connection. I see that- Main Street is to be the favoured length within the next year or so. Will we waybackers have to pay rates on the loan while waiting for our turn, or pay up for more benefits to the Main Street? .Good old Foxton, the town of patch work. It looks as if the Mayor and Councillors want to qualify for the old age pension before they finish the job. Can’t you put a'bit of' ginger into them?—l XXX.
