SHOP DAY.

A Shop Day will be held locally on Saturday next, under the auspices of the Weraroa Madri Gras Queen Committee. The funds are to be spent in the erection of a Memorial Gale to Fallen Soldiers, to be erected at the Weraroa Reserve, near the Levin railway station. Following the Shop, an evening performance will be given by the Weraroa Maori Minstrel Troupe, who will provide a programme of vocal and instrumental items of first-class merit. Any local financial assistance on behalf of the effort made by our sister borough will be keenly appreciated.
