The Palmerston N. rink did not visit Foxton yesterday, as was anticipated, to play for the Manson and Barr Cup.
A match for the Nye Ferns was played yesterday, the challenging team being skipped by Smith. At the commencement of the game the holders gained a good lead, but the challengers later overhauled them.
