MASONIC.

T!ie constitution, consecration and dedication of Lodge Mangahao, No. 231, took place at. Shannon last evening. MAY. Bro. Thomas Ross, Grand Mastei’, assisted by Grand Lodge ’officers, performed the ceremony. Sister Lodges from the Wellington and Ruapehu districts were well represented. The following officers were installed: —Master, Bro. William McKegg; Senior Warden, Bro. Thornill Cooper, Jr.; Junior Warden, Bro. George Ernest Murphy ; Chaplain, Bro. Rev. Angus Fingal Stewart; Treasurer, Bro. James Weatherly Mun-ay; Secretary, Bro. John Hercules Fargher; Dii-eetor of Ceremonies, Wor. Bro. J. Ross, P.M.: Senior Deacon, Bro. Claud Hamilton Speii’s; Junior Deacon, Bro. Edmund John Stewart Spencer; Organist, Bro. Sidney Geoi’ge Herbert Hall; Inner Guard, Bi’o. Ronald Joseph Law; Senior Steward, Bro. George Macfai’lane; Junior Steward, Bi-o. John N. T. Cherry; Tyler, Bro. William Neil Brown; Acting Im. Past Mastei’, Bro. William Renton. After the ceremonies the visitors were entertained at a banquet by the local Lodge.
