FESTAL FAIR.
TOWN HALL, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, MARCH 30 & 31. A jumble stall is, well —a jumble stall. The ladies in charge of this stall at the Fair are endeavouring to have their stall well-stocked, which means an even greater jumble. “We can do with anything from n needle to a motor ear,” is the motto of the stall-holders. Therefore on the last two days in March if you want or 1 - everything, look for it at the jumble stall. Your need is there, if' you can discover jt among the varied array. Can you imagine a piece of laeework peeping out behind two vegetable marrows! Next, a varied assortment of garments, ancient and modern, with a picture frame enclosing a„ scene of doubtful artistic merit, set in the very midst of this array of clothing. Beyond there, piles of books of all sorts a,nd conditions, and mounting the pile, some lamp globes, with calendars, cakes, cement and cornflour grouped about. The promised jumble list is so lengthy that the reporter lias refused to mention more. Y,ou must visit the Fair yourself to see this quaint collection of articles everybody needs.
