UNSKILFUL NURSING.
1 : Christchurch, Mar. 7. In the Supreme Court, Annie •Janet. McEwin was awarded £2lO damages [in an action brought by her against Beatrice Frances Rebekah Gilkes, proprietress of a pri-‘ vote nursing, home, for negligent and unskilful nursing. The plaintiff had undergone an operation in the home, and while recovering from the effects of the anaesthetic had both her heels burned by a hot water bottle.
