PRESBYTERIAN LADIES’ GUILD.

The Presbyterian Ladies’ Social Guild held their first monthly afternoon for this year at the residence of Mrs. McColl yesterday. There was sfgood'atfen‘d'ance> and the president, Mrs Halliday, in a brief address, referred to the "successful social and financial operations of the Guild during the past year, and hoped for similar success during the current year. The Guild’s operations had been keenly appreciated by the minister and managers, and was an important auxiliary of the Church. The Guild decided to hold a social afternoon in the Masonic Hall on April 26th. Competitions, interspersed with afternoon tea and social intercourse, with a hearty - vote of thanks to the hostess, concluded a very enjoyable afternoon.
