FRACTURED SKULL.

Piihiatua, Feb. 25. Thomas George Miller, a single man aged 30, was picked up unconscious on the Woodvillc street late at night on the second day of the races, and was admitted next day to the Pahiatua Hospital. He never recovered consciousness, and died on Thursday. A post mortem examunition showed that the skull was fractured. An inquest was opened, and was adjourned to Woodvillc next Friday.
