Mrs Perreau and Miss B. Speirs challenged the Levin Club holders of the Hornblow Badges, and the game was played at Levin yesterday. Foxton had made previous unsuccessful attempts to re-capture the trophies, and the challengers were up against a stiff proposition in Miss Whittaker and Mrs Kirk (the holders). The game lasted about three hours, and at .the halftime adjournment honours were even.
