SHIPPING.
The s.s. Kennedy arrived from Wellington at 5 o’clock this morning, hut grounded on a bank opposite the rush flat in the river. Her cargo was transferred to punts, and she will leave for Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day. ’ i As evidence of the lack of water in the river at this spot, the Kennedy was only drawing Oft. 2in. forward, and 6ft. sin. aft. The Kennedy will leave Wellington for Foxton to-morrow, at 5 p.m.
