Rex Beach Drama. —To-night, at the Town Hall, patrons will be treated to a feast of romance and thrills, when Rex Beach’s detective drama, “Partners of the Night,” is screened. The story begins at sea on an Atlantic liner, and the plot is well on the -way when port is reached. Ashore the sky is the limit, and gambling figures in the story. There is a bank, a gambling den, and police headquarters, where a fine type of man is in charge. Under him is a crook, who tries to queer the hero. Meanwhile the young detective follows the trail of a woman and two men. Is he in love with a .-thief? He doesn't know. The big “moments follow fast. Things begin to lookbad for Clifford. There is a crook in headquarters who gets Clifford the sack. Only another crook can save him. But how? And would you have married the girl? Answer for yourself to-night. Good supporting items.
