Healey (sj 25 Smith (s) 18 On Thursday night another Nye Ferns match was played, the challenging team being skipped by Admore. This game was remarkable for a “great finish” made by the challengers. The Committee have decided to notify Shannon Club that Wednesday, 22nd inst., will be a suitable date for the final round of the Triangular Contest, to be played at Shannon. r Four rinks from Wanganui will visit Palmerston N. on Thursday next. The Manawatu Centre have asked clubs within its district to send representatives to Palmerston on the date mentioned, and it has been decided to notify the Centre that Foxton will be represented by two players. Bowlers, are reminded that all games in the second round of the Wilford Cup Competition must be played by Wednesday next, 15th inst. Any games unplayed will go by default. It is anticipated that a rink representing Levin Club will visit Foxton on Wednesday next, to play for the Manson and Barr Cup.
