Town Hall, to-night. —Recognised as the greatest stake play of the age,. “A Message from Mars,” as produced by Metro with the famous Bert Lytell in the leading role, comes to the Town Hall to-night. Bert Lytell plays the role gf Horace Parker, a wealthy London clubman, and the most selfish man in London. He has the extraordinary experience of being visited by a messenger from Mars, who turns him from a wealthy lounge lizard into a grappling beggar. Do what he will, Parker cannot rid himself of this messenger, until lie has learned the great lesson of unselfishness, when the Messenger leaves, as mysteriously as he came. A romance runs through the picture, the big scenes of which are: The great London fire; London by night; the arrival of the Messenger from Mars, and the transformation from rich man to beggar. Supporting pictures are: “Brides for Two • (star comedy), “Flaming Disk” (serial), “English Gazette” and “Vancouver.” Prices, Is and 2s, plus tax, children 3d only.
