RIFLE SHOOTING

The second shoot for the Parkes and Retailers’ trophies will be held next Saturday, at sflo yards range. Programmes of the N.Z. Rifle Championship Meeting, to be held at Papawai, Greytown, on February 23rd, have been received. The meeting will be under the joint control of the Wnirarapa Rifle Association and the D.R.A.j and the programme includes competitions for all the cups and trophies of the D.R.A., as well as those of the Wairarapa R.A. Entries close with the secretary, A. L. Webster, Greytown, on Thursday, February 1(11 h. Any local riflemen who may be going are asked io notify 11. Frankland as early as possible, so that accommodation can be obtained.
