BOWLING.
A match for the Stevenson Pennants was played on the local green on Thursday evening, between Healey and Christie (holders) and Roore and Barr (challengers). The result was a win for Roore and Barr (s) by 28 to 17.
A very interesting and closely contested match was played for the Nye Ferns on Tuesday eyening, the challenging rink —Healey, D. Whibley, McColl and Nye (s) —tieing with the holders on the 21st head, and after an extra head was played the scores stood 23 —21 in favour of the holders —Betty, Christie, Whibley, Roore (s).
