The Foxton Retailers’ Association notify that all local business premises will close at 11 a.m. on Saturday, and re-open at 5 p.m., and will close at 11 a.m. on Monday. The Foxton Auctioneering Coy. will hold an auction sale at the mart to-morrow r (Friday) afternoon, commencing at 2 o’clock. A list of entries is advertised to-day. On Wednesday next, commencing at 1.30 p.m., the Foxton Auctioneering Coy. will hold a clearing sale of freehold house property, furniture and effects on account of Mr W. Sapsford. The house is built of totara throughout, and has all modem conveniences. The section is one acre, and the land is good. The whole of Mr Sapsford’s practically new household furniture and effects will also be submitted under the hammer. The sale will commence punctually at 1.30 o’clock.-
