BOWLING.

Yesterday afternoxm, on the local green, the third round of the Banner competitions inaugurated by the Manawatu Centre was played, the competing teams being from the Levin and Foxton Clubs, each club being represented by two rinks? The green was in perfect, condition, drawing evenly on both hands, and was. very keen. It had been specially prepared by the caretaker (Mr Bvne), who was complimented on all hands on its excellent condition. The result of the match was a win and a loss each.
