CARPENTIER MAY MEET DEMPSEY AGAIN. WHERE COOK FAILED. London, Jan. 14. Deschamps states that Carpenter, after his meeting with ‘‘Kid,’ Lewis, may seek another meeting with Dempsey. George Cook considers that - hi.--defeat was chiefly due to inexperience, and his proper course when dazed by the blow in (he fourth round was to take the count for a few seconds instead of merely sink-ins'-on his knees and trying to steady himself with his hand, giving Carpentier an opening for the second blow. Cook is anxious to meet Joe Beckett.
