BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S REPORT. At Monday night’s Council meeting the Borough Treasurer reported as follows: — . During the month of December the sum of £1,202 16s 2d was received, and has been placed to the credit of accounts as follows:—District fund account £1,202 8s Bd, cemetery account 7s 6d. The ledger balances at the 31st December were as follows: Imprest cash account £lO, general £4OB 5s sd, gasworks £769 17s Bd, interest £384 19s 2d, reserves £59 5s lOd, hospital and charitable aid £l3 5s 6d, all at debit, a total of £1,645 13s 7d. The accounts at credit were: Cemetery account £96 7 lid, contractors’ deposits £361, library £77 4s 9d, sanitation £169 Is 2d, town hall £l9O 13s Id, reconstruction Council Chambers £1,176 2s 4d, water and drainage loan £1,806 4s lOd, a total of £3,876 14s Id.
