QUARTERLY RETURN,
The following was the business of the local Magistrate’s Court for the period ending 31st December, 1921: — The number of sittings presided over by the Stipendiary Magistrate, 3; number of sittings presided over by Justices of the Peace, 12; total number of sittings during the quarter, 15. The number of.plaints entered were 42, and the aggregate amount sued for totalled £554 17s Bd. The number of persons taken into /■nstody and summoned were: Males 74, females 5, a total of 79.
