The personally selected holiday features are attaining a wonderful succss at the Town Hall. To-night the Metro company will he represented by the May Allison feature adapted from Mrs Humphrey Ward’s novel, “The Marriage of William Ashe.” The story carries Kitty Bristol (May Allison) through an exciting series of adventures which begin when she escapes from a convent and marries a Cabinet Minister. Her free and easy manner causes a scandal in society, which comes to a head when she shocks all by appearing at a garden party as Lady Godwa mounted on a white horse, with her long hair her only dress. She brings a storm down upon her husband’s head, which is only calmed when she flees hack to the convent, pursued by her husband, who still loves her in spite of her indiscretion. Supports tonight are “Know Thy Wife,” feature comedy; English Gazelle; a Bee-keeping Study,” and an episode of “The Flaming Disk,” serial. Monday will see Ihe only presentation of the long-awiled perfect .motion picture, “Blind Husbands.” This is a nine-reel story of husbands who, through their blind folly, give their wives chances which they in their hearts do not really want. The picture is produced and acted hv the same cast as last week’s success, “The Devil’s Passkey,” and carries a hunch of thrills with a climax brought out on the Mimmit of a mountain in Switzerland.
