ROYAL PICTURES.
SPECIAL HOLIDAY PRO-
GRAMMES.
There arc so many real thrills, and so much absorbing interest, in this astonishing drama, that mere words cannot describe its fascination. “Go and Get It” —four words well known to every newspaper man —is an ample title, and surely never was a play or picture shown that contained such an admirable tribute to the reporter. Perils and excitement are the order of this big feature, which contains aerial stunts on the part of Pat O’Malley, in the role of a young reporter, hot on the scent of a big and baffling mystery, that are simply awesome; in addition the theme is enthralling^enough by itself, that of the transference of the brain of a criminal to a huge gorilla, who afterwards becomes a sort of Frankenstein. The character of Ferre, the ape, ns portrayed by Bull Nontana is nothing short of marvellous. Wesley Barry, whose freckles have made him famous, has a large share of the honours. This superb picture will be shown to-night, and the prices of admission will he 2s and Is, plus la.x, children half-price. On Monday the special holiday programmes will he continued, when the famous actress, Billie Burke, will he seen in a special Paramount feature, “The Frisky Mrs Johnson,” one of her most entertaining and amusing portrayals. As an extra, “The Branded Four” will be shown. The prices of admission will he 6d and Is Id, children half-price. Patrons are asked to specially note that there will be a change of programme every night next week.
