ROYAL PICTURES.
The dangers of navigating the uncharted channels ot industrial life are admirably illustrated, in “Uncharted Channels,” starring H. B. Warner, the noted actor, at the Royal w-night. The workings of the advanced type of demagogue who is responsible for many of the breaks between capital and- labour are realistically shown in Ijtis picture, which displays‘Warner in a new and sinking 1 characterisation, llml of a plumber. He dons overalls and toils faithfully with his hands all day. His job enables him to squelch a nice little “red” plot in the hud, and lo make very effective love lo a very attractive girl. Kathryn Adams, of musical comedy and screen fame, is the girl. ■ Blanche Sweet is a revelation in “Fighting Orcssy,” an unusually in - I cresting feature from the pen of that peer of Western writers, Brel Harle, at the Royal on Friday. Her work has been the last word in artistry, lmt in her role of dressy. Aliss Sweet shows a fire and spirit that no other role has ever allowed her to display. The east of “Fighting dressy" is a large one, containing in addition to Blanche Sweet the names of such well-known players as Russell Simpson. Fell Trenton, Edward Fed, and Walter Ferry.
Saturday: A special holiday programme, “Broadway Bubbles,” and “Eastern ’ Westerner.” A present for every child at Saturday’s matinee.
