ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Rotorua, Dec. 21
This morning early a boy nine veat's of age, sou ol Amotawn, lifted his fat iter's gun and pulled the trigger. The charge struck Togo Morrison, who was cleaning boots on the other side of the road, mg in his idlest, arms and loins, but missing the vital parts. The victim is in the King George V. Hospital. Fit ham, Dee. 21. John Considine, aged 47, a single man, was found dead by his workmates ;it Teroti railway work's this morning. Gisborne, Dec. 20.
At the inquest concerning the death of William Thomas Darville, ;{;} years of age, unmarried, who
was found on the Maikanae beach, verdict was returned that death was due to drowning, with no eviib nee to show how deceased got inlb the water.
Invercargill, Last Nigh I
George Albert Sands, slock inspector at Lumsden, was thrown from his horse while riding over jumps vest onlay, and sustained injuries, from which he died at the Gore Hosnital to-day.
