CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.

Replying to Air Dixon. Iho Hon. Air Anderson said that legislation was in course of preparation, providing that when there were two holidays in one week it will nol he required to observe the .statutory Weekly half-holiday. At present there was no law Jo do this, and this year the shopkeepers would have to observe the weekly halfholiday as well as the Christmas and New Year holidays.
