Katherine AlacDonald, famed as the most beautiful woman in America, and supported by a wellknown cast, including Nigel Barrio and Dorothy Cummings, is the star of the latest First National production, at the Royal Theatre to-night, entitled “The Notorious Aliss Lisle.” The picture is a dramatisation of Mrs Baillie Reynold’s famous novel. The human story is really more appealing and natural on the screen than in the printed pages. A special Snooky comedy will be included in the programme, “The Big Show,” and the first episode of a new serial, “The Fatal Sign,” will be shown as an extra.
On Alonday Ethel Cayton will be seen in a''sort of feminine Jekyll and Hyde, in her latest Paramount photoplay, “Sins of Rozanne.” The picture is a mystery-romance, with the bulk of the action laid in South Africa, and was adapted from Cynthia Stockley’s popular novel.
