SUPREME COURT.

Napier, Yesterday. At the Supreme Court, Andrew Murray, of Erasertown, storekeeper, who pleaded guilty to breaking and entering and theft of goods of the value of £SOO, was sentenced to two and a-half years’ imprisonment with hard labour. Auckland, Nov. 19. At the Supreme Court, Henry James Hansen, for forgery and uttering in connection with two libellous letters reflecting on the character of two Syrians, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment. George Cooper Jackson, for receiving butter stolen from the Niagara, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment. George Caffrey, for escaping from custody, was sentenced to twelve months in gaol. John Patrick Donovan, for indecent assault on a male, was given five years’ imprisonment.
