The" following are Ihe results of matches played on the Club’s courts during the past week: — “A” Singles. —Mrs Parkes beat Mrs Healey, G points. Mrs Ball beat Mrs Parkes, 5 points. Mrs Woods beat Mrs Ball, 6 points.

A match for the Stewart Shields was played last Tuesday. The holders were Mesdames Woods and Bryant, and the challengers Mrs Perrcau and Miss B, Spoil's. The result was a win for the challengers' by 4 points. DAVIS HOOPS.

The Davis hoops have now come to hand, and in order to give players an opportunity to practice with them before club matches are continued, all matches will be suspended for one week. Players are advised to take the opportunity of practising with the new hoops during this period.
