BOROUGH FINANCE.
The Borough Treasurer reported at Monday night’s Council meeting as follows: —
During the month of October the sum of £535 5s 2d was received, and was credited to accounts as under Cemetery account £3 17s 6d, district fund account £531 7s Bd. Ledger balances at the 31st October, 1921, were as follows:—lmprest cash £lO, gas; works £1,113 6s sd, general £544 11s Bd, hospital and charitable aid £1 3s 4d, interest account £166 9s lid, reserves £l3O 7s 9d, all at debit, a total of £1,965 19s 2d. The accounts at credit were: —Cemetery £93 2s lOd, contractors’ deposits £l2l, library £69 Is 9d, reconstruction £l,lßl 2s 4d, sanitation £124 3s 7d, town hall £192 19s 9d, water and drainage £2,487 4s 2d, at total of £4,359 14s sd.
