RIFLE SHOOTING.
On Saturday a sweepstake was held at 300 yards, under a clear sky T and a slight westerly'breeze. The bright, sun made difficult aiming at the Bisley target, and scoring was low and erratic. H. Frankland won the sweep, with a lucky score of 4G. Several members were again absent . Scores were as follows 3
The Secretary has received a request from the Linton D. Rifle Club for a friendly match at Foxton at an early date. A reply has been sent, proposing that the match he held on Saturday, November 26th, if convenient. Arrangements for the match will he made at the shoot next Saturday.
