NEW ELECTORATE.
SITUATED IN THE WAIKATO
Wellington, Nov. 11.
In (lie House of Representatives, Mr Massey announced that he had been unofficially informed that the representation commissioners had completed their work, with the result that one seat would be taken from tlie South Island, and one given to the North. The electorate to be wiped out was Bruce, and the new electorate would lie in the Waikato. The present Waikato seat would become I lie Hamilton electorate, and the new Waikato electorate would be cent red upon Te Awamutu. No licensed bouses had been affected by the alteration of the boundaries. The people in the districts affected by the changes would have the right of appeal up to an early date in January next.
