RACING.
The stake in the New Zealand Cup, to he run to-day at Christchurch, is £2,500, the distance two miles, and this year there are 17 runners. The field includes Vagabond, the winner in 1919, Bonnie Maid, who ran fourth to Oratress hist year, Royal Star, who finished fifth after being badly galloped on and Kilgour, who, however, did nol finish in the first six. Among other good performers arc Snsanof and Rouen, who are a strong pair, and proved stayers.
