BOWLING.
A Committee meeting of the Bowling Club was held in the pavilion yesterday afternoon. Correspondence was dealt with as follows: From the Dominion Bonding Association, submitting eighth annual report.—Received. From Secretary of the Shannon Club, urging the Foxton Club to send delegates to Levin opening, to arrange this season’s Triangular Shield competition, and discuss rules, and make amendments, if necessary.—Decided that the President and Secretary be appointed delegates to confer re the above. From Secretary of the Manawatu Centre, asking for, list of Club officers. It was decided to purchase a neV set of hoops and peg for the Ladies’ Croquet Club. The resignation of one member ivas accepted, and one new’ member elected. On the motion of Messrs Walton and Bryant, the Secretary was instructed to write the President of the Manawatu Centre, requesting that one week’s notice of Centre meetings he given to district clubs.
