BUTTER MARKET.
The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office, under dale 28lh October: —
Butter. —The market; is quiet. Government has lowered price to 192 s per cwt. Current quotation for free butter is 200 s to 204 s per cwt.
Cheese. —The market is dull and declining. Current prices: Coloured, 80s to 80s per cwt.; white, 86s to 94s per cwt.
