ANTE-NATAL CLINIC.
FREE ADVICE TO EXPECTANT
MOTHERS.
■An important advertisement is inserted elsewhere in this issue by the Hospital Board, which should be of particular interest to expectant mothers. An ante-natal clinic has been arranged at the district hospital at Palmerston, where mothers may obtain free advice on Thursdays, from 2 to 3 p.m., and 7 to 8 p.m.
The Public Health Department, in view of the alarming infant mortality in this dominion, is leaving no stone unturned to improve matters, and hospital boards are now making provision to give advice to expectant mothers free of cost. It is hoped that the clinic will be appreciated in the cause of motherhood.
