PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE.

The monthly meeting of the above was held on Thursday evening. Present: Messrs Barber, Chrystall, Hornblow, Burr, McMurray, Trueman (secretary), Mrs McMurray, and Miss Sewell. The Secretary’s action in granting a small loan was endorsed. Correspondence was read from the National War Funds Council re closing the local fund and transferring the balance in hand to the National War Funds Council,/or local Provincial Body incorporated. Ij; was explained that this matter had been discussed in 1919, and it was then decided to hold it over for further consideration. Resolved that the matter be dealt with at next meeting.
