REPORT,
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 22nd instant, reads: — Manila market quiet, with easier tendency. J grade, July-September and October-December shipments quoted sellers £39. New Zealand market continues quiet. Tendency easier in absence of demand. Nominal value high points spot £42; October-December, January-March shipments £3B 10s, fair £37 10s, £36 10s respectively.
