RIFLE SHOOTING.
Last Saturday a practice shoot at 500 yards was held, which was poorly attended. The weather conditions were unfavourable a strong westerly wind and variable light—but fit is to be regretted that so many members were absent, as those present gained valuable experience as to flag-reading and wind allowance. Twos, and threes were plentiful, but considering the conditions the scores, as follow, were good:—
Next Saturday’s shoot will be 10 shots at fiOO yards, optional sweepstake, and it is hoped there will be a large attendance.
