The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 15th inst., reads: ■ Dfanila market steady, hut quiet. J grade afloat sold at £4O; JulySeptember, Oetober-Deeember shipments quoted, sellers £4O. New Zealand market quiet, small business reported; high points, OctoberDecember shipments, £39, tendency easier at close owing to absence of demand.
