BOROUGH FINANCE
The Borough Treasurer reported as folloAVS at Monday night’s meeting of the Borough Council: — During the month of September the sum of £458 2s 4d was received, and was credited to accounts as follows '.—District fund account, £457 4s 10d, cemetery account 17s 6d. The ledger balances on the 30th September were as follows: — Imprest cash account £lO, gasworks £892 13s 3d, general £43o'os 7d, hospital and charitable aid £9 13s Id,, reserves £149 15s lOd, interest £l9O 10s,Jd, all at debit, a total of £1,094 13s 4d. The accounts at credit were: Cemetery £B9 15s 4d, contractors’ deposits £212, library £OS Is Od, recopstruction £1,210 2s 4d, sanitation £l3O 15s 4d, town hall £lO9 9s 3d, water and drainage £3,004 9s sd, a total of £5,547 12s Bd.
