Hayakawa is seen in the role of an Americanised Chinese youth, who falls desperately in love with the fiancee of one ol: his college chums. Realising the hopelessness of his love, he returns to China and enters the service of liis country. Here events shape themselves rapidly, and the story moves swiftly to a, dramatic climax.
