SHEARER POISONED
DEATH AT DUNEDIN
Dunedin, Sept. 20.
Thomas Walker, a shearer, died in Hie hospital on Saturday. He was received in the institution on July 27th, suffering from the effects of poison. If, was stated that deceased had denied having taken the poison. lie said he met two men on July 2(51 h, who gave him a drink. The medical evidence showed that there was corrosion of deceased’s throat through poison. The inquest was adjourned for inquiry.
