MR. MASSEY’S RETURN

So far as is known at present, Mr Massey will arrive in Auckland on Friday, 30th September, when Parliament has been in session for one complete week. He will therefore be in his place jn the House on the following Tuesday, and,may yet be in time to speak on the Address-in-Reply. It is not expected that speeches in this debate will be numerous or long, as members will be inclined to reserve their comments and criticisms for the ear of the Prime Minister. Still, to dispose of all the speeches in four sittings (or it may be three, if the adjournment for deceased members is not taken on Friday) would be to give the Address particularly good despatch.
