SOMNAMBULIST INJURED.
Carterton, Yesterday.
Walter Dear, a soldier settler on the Ahinrulie soldier settlement, was staying at. the Marquis Hotel last night. In his sleep, at 3 o’clock this morning, he opened his bedroom window, 1G feet, from the ground, and stepped out. When picked up it was found that his face was cut and bruised, and that both Wrists were broken. He was attended by Dr. Edie and two medical students belonging to the Otago football team, and was later admitted to the Masterton Hospital.
