BOWLING.

At a recent meeting of the Committee of the Foxton Bowling Club it was decided to open the local green on Wednesday, October 12th, providing the circumstances are propitious for the preparation of Ihe green in the meantime. A working bee will be held on the green on Wednesday of next week, when work will he commenced on Ihe green, and other-matters attended to. It is hoped that members able to do so will lie present.

It was decided to provide all lockers with locks, and let same to members at a rental of 2s Oil per annum.
