FOXTON RAISES £IOB,

As a result of the recent efforts on behalf of the above fund for the establishment of a St, Helen’s Hospital at Palmerston N. for the hospital district, a net sum of £IOB was raised locally, and this exclusive of money contributed through other channels to the fund, which should bring Foxton’s total to over £l5O. Elsewhere in this issue the Mayor (Mr John Chrystall) thanks all who in any way assisted to provide Foxton’s promised quota, which exceeded the a mount stated.
